12 breathtaking antique Limoges porcelain dessert plates, each exquisitely hand-painted with soft pink cabbage roses framed by a pale celadon green border. The edges shimmer with intricate raised gold scrollwork and beaded gilding, showcasing the delicate craftsmanship of turn-of-the-century Limoges artisans.

Created in France for Lazarus, Straus & Sons (L.S.&S.) around 1891–1914, these elegant Rococo Revival pieces were imported for luxury American retailers. Their ornate form and romantic floral artistry make them timeless display or serving pieces for fine tea service, special gatherings, or heirloom collections.
What we are offering you is a stunning antique L.S. & S. Limoges Art Nouveau Roses with gold trim 8” plate. In reality, this is not just a plate, but it is a piece of history.

L.S.&S. was an importing company from America, originally established in New York City by Lazarus Straus and his sons Isidor and Nathan in 1866 as a glassware and tableware importer. Soon, they began decorating Limoge plateware that they purchased from Limoges in France and reselling these gorgeous pieces inside of Macy’s in New York. In 1896, the Straus family purchased Macy’s and eventually made it the largest department store in America.
The company operated between 1891-1927 during the Gilded Age. Tragically, son Isidor and his wife Ida passed away when they sank aboard the Titanic in 1912.

When you purchase one of these amazing plates, you are purchasing a piece of that history that can never be replaced.

This plate is perfect for the collector
